Personal Blog & Hobby Blog? Do Both Separately

I am responding to Quack About.

I know it's late but i want to respond anyway because I've done it.

(My English is very bad. Please forgive me. I will try to write properly)

If you start a blog about your hobby (or anything specific) and suddenly you realize you posted a lot about you life thay got nothing to do with that hobby; it's time to do both, in separate blog.

I started blogging in 2009 for fun and random stuff. Then i get into craft and starting from that i post about craft almost all the time.

When i realized it, the first thing i concerned about is the readers.

If the readers saw my craft and follow my blog but then the next and next and next post is about i rant about driving, or talking about rat that crawling under my bed or today sky is clear, i don't think they appreciate that. Because they were here for craft.

I did't think much, i just made new blog about craft specifically. And i manage both blogs without problems for years.

My voice in craft blog is sweet and calm. And my voice in personal blog is gothic and rebel.

It was so satisfying to manage both blog with different voices. It's like i exposed two sides that i have in me. (but you don't have to write with different voices. I did it naturally without thinking).

So, yeah. In my opinion just do two blogs separately. I know you can handle it. I did and it's fun.

Thank you.
